Vancouver 2010

On Monday night I decided that I would head to Vancouver on Wednesday so that I could, for a few hours, be part of the 2010 Olympics. I took my daughter with me and off we went to see the Cauldron and "feel" the sea of red. It was a rainy cold day that we chose to go but the experience was worth it. So proud to be a Canadian ♥

Cold February Day

I woke up this morning and was in the mood to go looking for some unique photo opportunities. I left with landscapes in mind but ended up in a junk yard with loads of crazy snow covered machinery, wheels, old wagons and stuff that I can't put a name to. It was freezing outside but I was determined to find a few great shots and avoid frostbite all at the same time. Two hours later I was back at home warming my hands with a Timmys coffee anxious to take a peek at my photos. Here are the ones that I thought were interesting and unique.

The Island

I love going back to the island. The smell of the ocean, the familiarity of all around me, and of course the family we get to see. I had a fantastic time in Victoria and got to do some photos of my gorgeous neice and nephew...thanks Connor and Abbi ♥
